As part of a global review of its port network, the leading automotive shipping company, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines, asked TransDevelopment to review the suitability of the Canada Terminal at the Port of Zeebrugge for expanded operations. Advisory services included an assessment of all pavement areas and buildings on the site, and the development of master plans for facility rehabilitation and expansion to meet the client's higher volume of shipping traffic.

A comprehensive due-diligence and model budget package was developed for use in negotiations with the port authority and the existing tenants and users of the facility. Area of study included personnel levels, maintenance requirements, site security and truck traffic circulation in the multi-tenant facility.
