Toyota Rail Distribution Center – Guanajuato, Mexico

TransDevelopment México (TDM) has now reached substantial completion of the new rail access and finished vehicle logistics facilities for Toyota’s newest assembly plant in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. TDM is serving as the Development Manager for the development of 14.6 kilometers of new trackwork, a 48-railcar loading ramp, 13-hectare marshaling yard, two vehicle processing centers, an administration building, and a new bridge crossing of the Rio Querétaro. Since production startup, the plant has provided extensive COIVD-19 guidelines, which TDM has implemented at the construction worksites on and off the plant site. The first multilevel train, operated by KCS de Mexico, was received at the facility in September 2020.
